Week Thirty Four

It's been a crazy week here after fur baby number four got spayed. Trying to get a five month old kitten to lay down and rest is not as easy as it sounds!

We're also building up to our next trip, so in light of that the excitement is reflected in my planner this week!

I've opted for a girly pink week in my planner using princess washi tape (from Amazon) and some Aurora stickers I picked up in the range. The countdown stickers I made myself.

My personal size is coordinated again this week as I couldn't get enough of the princess tape, even though I have been a bit cack handed with it.

I opted for skinny tape in my personal size too as it gives me more space to write in the boxes.

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, I hope you're having a good week!

Hello Kikki!

Between planning holidays and a slightly festering eBay addiction, I've had no shortage of happy mail this week. That included the arrival of this little beauty.

I could scarcely contain my excitement unblocking this much desired beauty. She combines my favourite things: pink, polka dots and planners.

I love the pretty design and she's got that beautiful new planner smell. You know the one I mean right?

She came with stickers for all her tabs and I'm completely smitten with her black rings!

Plus those lovely folk at Kikki K have already started stuffing her pockets. I'm in love!

I'm not 100% certain what I'm going to use her for at the moment, but for the time being I'm happy just to take her out and look at her.

Week Twenty Eight

This week is a very special week for me as it marks 5 years since my first date with Mr S. Naturally this means I've gone with a bit of a theme across my planners.

In my fluoro I've opted for pink tapes which came from ikea. For me they were just the right amount of fun and soppy. As the tape is quite bold I felt I didn't need stickers this week.

I did however add a journalling card and book mark. The journalling card is by Websters Pages and will find it's way into the love letters I write after this week. The bookmark is from Paperchase and is perfect for finding my page.

My color crush is similar, using pink lovey dovey tapes, however the stars and music are from Hema and the hearts is from Hobbycraft.

The butterfly paperclip is from Sainsburys, Mr S picked them up for me as he knew I'd love them.

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, I hope you have a great week!

Week Sixteen

I'm a little bit late posting this weeks pages, I was trying to wait for my HEMA goodies to arrive, but they were only dispatched yesterday. Whoops!

I've gone for co-ordinating themes this week and kept decoration to a minimum as I keep needing to add things to my week this week.

The tape I've used is from ikea and comes as a set of four. In order to fit everything in, I've used frixion rollerballs this week in complementary colours.

I've been making paperclips today so sruggled to choose between them whilst decorating this week, although I've opted for pink to match my theme. I love those little ice pops, they're perfect for a summery week.

I also added a journalling card with my ikea paperclips to match this week. It's been a bit of a hard week with a few setbacks, so I decided to have a cheerful reminder that really things aren't always as bad as they feel.

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, I hope you have a great week!

Week Fifteen

I treated myself to some new washi tape this weekend so I've used that to decorate this week.

I've used Cath Kidston tapes in my tweed this week which I've matched with some Easter stickers from Hobbycraft. This gives my planner a lovely spring vibe.

This little chick is my favourite, he's so sweet!

I used green ikea tape in my personal size to create a contrast between the pink pages. I then added some Paperchase stickers to add a floral effect. I like that the new pages have room for adding stickers, although I've now got to ensure I don't use anything that clashes with the paper.

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, I hope you have a good week'

Setting up my butterfly

I've been itching to set this pretty little number up since I got my grubby mitts on it. The only problem was I wanted the perfect papers to do so. I finally found some this weekend, so she's finally ready, I can scarcely contain my excitement!

These pretty dividers were made with some paper I picked up in TK Maxx this weekend.

As I can't resist anything pink and girly I bought some pink weekly pages and helped a good cause too. Filofax make these every year to raise funds for Breast Cancer.

I also added some pretty lined paper I picked up from Paperchase. It has bunting along the top which I thought was very sweet.

I kept the original dashboard though as I thought it was very pretty.

I also added a cheerful journalling card which matches my mood at the moment as I've been doing lots of long term goal planning and thinking about the future.

I'm so happy to now be using this beautiful planner. I can't wait to start decorating my pages.

Moomin Planner

On a bit of a whim after seeing it on Amazon, I bought this Moomin planner. There was absolutely no rhyme or reason to this beyond the fact that it was cute, Moomin themed and inexpensive.

It's a pocket size, which I haven't tried before. I'm not too sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I absolutely love it though, all the inserts are Moomin themed which I was not expecting.

It has a Moomin ruler and dividers which are labelled and feature cute Moomin pictures.

I really like the colours used too, it could have ended up very pink but the blue and purple break it up.

The pages are Moomin themed too, adding cute characters to the page and eliminating the need to decorate.

I completely love this planner. It's handy for slipping into a smaller handbag on those rare occasions my personal size doesn't fit. I'll update you once I know what I'm using this beauty for, but in the meantime have a wonderful weekend!

Week Fourteen

It's been the kind of week you want to put in a box and wish it had never happened. It's not really appropriate for me to go into it, but I'm sorry for being late with this weeks post. Normal service (or wacky blathering depending on your perspective) will resume.

I've tried to go for a spring-Easter theme this week, although I've put my Easter stickers in a safe place. So this week is a little plain but it works.

I've gone for yellows and pinks with matching themes in both planners this week.

Because I've kept decorating minimal my A5 looks a bit blank, which is odd because this week actually feels quite busy!

It looks much busier in my personal size, but I guess that's because of the smaller pages.

I'm rocking eBay tapes again this week. I love those chickens on the pink tape!

I hope wherever you are and whatever you're doing, you're having a good week!

Week Thirteen

Well this year is certainly flying by and Mr S has had me in the holiday mood this weekend so I've opted for a summery jungle theme in both planners as a result.

I love this tropical tape from Paperchase and it was so colourful I really didn't feel that I needed stickers.

I've added in this cute lion though, as I didn't quite feel the pages would be complete without the king of the jungle.

I used some of my new paperclips to mark my page, trying to pick out some of the colours from the tape.

I carried the theme on in my personal. I'm completely in love with the feather tape which you can see at the top and bottom of the page.

I opted for some more cheerful paperclips and a little bit of sparkle. These bright colours are sure to keep me smiling all week though.

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing I hope you have a good week!

Week Eleven

My week feels busier than it looks this week so I've gone for matching themes in both planners. It's ended up rather pink so I added pink stickers just to put the icing on the cake, using some sweet ones I bought from paperchase.

As our kittens have arrived, I opted for kitty themed washi and stickers, using both aristocrats and hello kitty. This started the pink theme off which I then added to with some skinny pink washi.

I decided to add cat themed paperclips this week too, although I'm not sure they're too durable as they're made using paper toppers.

I hope you're having a good week whatever you are doing!

Personal Size Dividers

After I finished the dashboard for my personal size, I got straight on with dividers to match. They're from the same paper as my A5 dividers but in a slightly different order.

I'm really pleased with them, I think my favourite might be the one on the bottom right. It's got Sebastian from The Little Mermaid on it.

I love how pretty these are and the pink interior of my Filofax complements them really well in my opinion.

I've really enjoyed making these, but I think I might do something other than Disney for my next set, although saying that, I've already started planning my winter set up. Nothing like being organised!

Personal Size Dashboard

I've been crafting and creating again, this time making a dashboard for my personal size. I toyed with the idea of doing something different, but as it's supposed to work alongside my A5 I decided that the dashboard would be very similar.

It's not exactly the same as my A5, but from the same paper stock. The only down side to this was that some of the pictures were too big to use as the personal is smaller. The paper was from Amazon and is Disney themed scrapbook paper. There's a huge selection available but I opted for the princess papers.

Hole punching was an experience too. I bought a rapesco personal size hole punch a while back, believing it to be A5. Not only was it a bit stiff, though I attributed this to the laminated paper, but it was trickier than I expected to line up. I'll need a bit more practice before I do dividers to match the dashboard.

All in all though, I'm happy with the way it has turned out. It looks so sweet in the front of my planner.

Week Seven

This is possibly my favourite week in my planners so far and I've really enjoyed decorating them.

I'm still getting the hang of my personal size but loved the tapes I used this week. We're off to Disneyland this weekend so I couldn't resist dotting in some Mickeys here and there.

My A5 has a lovey dovey theme as well, as it's not just Valentines but Mr S' birthday too. This was the decision to go away this weekend, to celebrate.

I've used some Paris themed paper to make a list of all the things I mustn't forget this week in preparation.

I've even made some Mickey themed paperclips to go with this week. I just love these pretty pink sparkles!

I'm so excited for this week, I can't wait for the weekend!

More Dividers

As always I've been enjoying some craft time this weekend, making dividers for my tweed and some cute paperclips. The dividers match my dashboard and add to the girly feel of my planner.

I still had a little difficulty with the laminator, although these came out better than the Roald Dahl ones. My favourite one is the green one.

They look fab in my planner too. I think these might be my favourite thing in my planner yet.

I also took some time to make some pretty paperclips this weekend with some flowers I got from the pound shop.

I really liked the colours in the selection, they're really pretty and they look really sweet in my personal size too.

And here's a wider selection of my newly decorated paperclips:
