Disney Freebie Webfinds

With planning two Disney trips, I've been scouring the web for ideas and content for my planners. Whilst most of these have been practical, I've picked up a couple of freebies this week to make my planner look pretty too,

The first are these journaling cards from Britt-ish Designs which come as a set of four. The site does lots of bundles which you can purchase, but if you scroll right down to the bottom of the page you'll find these little cuties!

Second was another set of journaling cards, or you could use these as themed paper by Scrap with Sara. There were nine cards in total with Mickey and most of his friends on. I've printed these A5 size to fit my planner but you could make them bigger or smaller to meet your needs.

Lastly are these journal pages aimed at adults for recording your daily highlights by Mouse for Less. These are Tinkerbell themed but the website offers a massive selection which you can download and print for your journal in full and half page sizes. I was really excited about this as I'm always worried I'm going to forget something but I can fill this in as I go and make sure I don't forget.

Hope you enjoy!

Filofax as a reading journal

After I received my color crush, I started to feel guilty about not using my butterfly and this got my brain ticking over. My planner has been a great way to develop and establish better habits and routines. Just because I'm not planning my week in my butterfly doesn't mean I can't still plan with it.

I've always been a lover of books but I'm also a great complainer of not having enough time to read too. The summer break I read plenty, but the rest of the time I'm hopeless. So I decided to start logging my reading in my pretty planner.

It's simple but effective; after only two weeks I've read 5 books. Normally more than I'd manage in a term. Needless to say I'm one very happy girl at the moment, especially enjoying Darcy and Miss Bennett's flirtations!

How about you, do you use your filofax to support your reading habit?

Throw back Thursday - writing journal

Normally, whenever my cats disappear under my bed much annoyance ensues. Last night however, climbing under to retrieve them I discovered they had knocked over a box containing university notes and right at the top was my writing journal.

During my degree I studied creative writing which involved keeping a writing journal. Mostly at this time I write quotes that I liked, either because they were meaningful or entertaining.

Some pages are decorated with stickers, whilst most are just decorated with a variety of sticky notes.

It was quite amusing flicking through and seeing those things that inspired me whilst I was doing my studying.

Whilst there are a lot of silly and fun quotes, there were some soppy ones too. I decided not to picture those, as st that time it would appear I was a bit of a miserable cow.

It was quite fun looking back through my journal, and I think I'll certainly be starting one again.
