I often get asked where I've picked up various bits and pieces for my planner, so I've put together a little list of my favourite places to shop when I'm in planner need.
1. Paperchase
Great for: stickers, quirky paper tape sets, inexpensive planners, refills
Not so great for: my bank balance (I always spend a fortune). Paperchase can be a little hit or miss price wise; some things seem to be really reasonable whilst others can be a bit pricey depending on your budget.
2. Hema
Great for: sticky notes, washi tapes, stamps, exercise book covers
I find Hema very budget friendly, I can get quite a large haul for not a lot of money
Not so great for: shopping without adult supervision, I've literally bought three sets of the same sticky notes from Hema before now simply because they're 75p each and pretty.
3. Poundshop
Great for: bargains, fun list pads, stickers, card and paper stock
Not so great for: consistency. If you see something you have to pretty much get it then and there, otherwise there is no guarantee that it will still be there a few days later.
4. Amazon
Great for: most things. The site is quite diverse so you can order anything from tape to a new filofax online with the convenience of coming all from the same place.
Not so great for: delivery can be a bit varied based on marketplace sellers through Amazon. Tread carefully with some of these, as you can find yourself incurring customs charges if you're not careful,
5. WH Smith
Great for: Filofax deals. They offer a modest selection of filofaxes at a tempting price
Not so great for: You'll want to spend all your money on filofax deals!
EU? In America, my list would include Office Depot, Staples, and The Container Store.
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm in the UK so sadly don't always get offered a great selection.
