Week Twenty Seven

I opted for matching themes this week, although I've been assisted by Nellie so some of my handiwork is a little wobbly. Like me, she's a big fan of washi tape which proved hard work.

I used sticky notes I picked up from sainsburys and matching washi from the same line. I love the bright summery feel to them and love how they compliment my planner too.

I used my trusty frixion pens in coordinating colours and as such am really pleased with the way this week has turned out.

The personal size pages were a bit too small for the sticky notes, but I felt the colours complimented my color crush planner well.

It feels a little bare as there's not much going on this week, but we've just had a weekend of celebrations thanks to my parents 30th wedding anniversary and Father's Day here in the uk so to be honest I'm glad of a little down time to snuggle up with a good book and Nellie.

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, I hope you have a good week too!

Week Twenty-Four

I've opted for a nice healthy themed week in both planners this week. Although there's a theme across both planners, I've used different colours and tapes too.

It's a rather quiet week this week, which should give me plenty of time to prepare supplies for my work planner this week: everything is all laid out ready!

My A5 has Paperchase tapes and matching sticky notes. I thought the mushrooms were jellyfish initially, and as such they really makes me smile.

My websters planner is a bit more colourful, with some washi Mr S bought me. I'm totally loving this planner, now I've had a chance to play with it for a bit I'll be able to do a post on it.

Whatever you're doing, have a good week doing it!

Week Fifteen

I treated myself to some new washi tape this weekend so I've used that to decorate this week.

I've used Cath Kidston tapes in my tweed this week which I've matched with some Easter stickers from Hobbycraft. This gives my planner a lovely spring vibe.

This little chick is my favourite, he's so sweet!

I used green ikea tape in my personal size to create a contrast between the pink pages. I then added some Paperchase stickers to add a floral effect. I like that the new pages have room for adding stickers, although I've now got to ensure I don't use anything that clashes with the paper.

Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, I hope you have a good week'

Week Ten

This year seems to be flying by as we start upon week ten! I've gone for different themes in my planners this week.

With my Tweed, I opted for a Minnie Mouse theme after some new stickers turned up. I kind of wish I had used pinks instead of reds as it appears a bit dark.

With Broadchurch ending my week feels pretty empty. I may have to wait for it to come out on DVD to fill the void!

I opted for floral and sparkly paperclips this week to compliment my page. I'm really enjoying using cabochons to personalise my paperclips and therefore my week.

My personal size however I opted for a sunny yellow spring time theme which is bright and cheerful: exactly what I need in my pocket whilst I wait for spring to arrive.

I opted for pretty yellow paperclips to match this week's pages, using flowers and sparkle to carry on that springtime feeling!

Paperchase sale? Yes please!

A cheeky little trip to paperchase resulted in a few cheeky bargains this weekend. I couldn't resist some new sticky notes and tapes.

I think an under the sea themed page is in order, although I may need to keep an eye out for some Finding Nemo stickers and tape to go with these lovely post-it's!

The whale is by far my favourite, after all who could resist that smile?

Mr S treated me to some stickers for Christmas that match these cute notes, so no doubt there will be a 'sweet' page coming soon too!

Mr S also treated me to a new lanyard this weekend as pens were scarce when he went to The Bett Show yesterday.

So all in all I've been a lucky lady this weekend.

Week Three

Are we seriously on the verge of week three of the new year already? I suppose it's technically 2 and a half weeks in but even so it's crazy how quickly it's going, we'll be at Mr S' birthday before I know it!

This week I've opted for a cat themed week which ended up as a very pink and cheerful week. I could have quite happily smothered my page in more stickers but I think it would have been a touch over the top!

I was surprised how much cat themed stuff I've acquired in the build up to Christmas, I was spoilt for choice.

This awesome tape came from a bundle I got from eBay and prompted the use of pink tape throughout the rest of the page.

These paperchase stickers I thought were perfect given the pink cat theme. I tried to be sparing with them as I thought a whole page might be a tad much, although I could be in denial about my crazy cat lady roots here.

I loved these little kawaii stickers; I couldn't resist adding them to my page. They came from Amazon. I do think I'm going to need to search for some cat themed paper clips to make this page complete though.

This page has completely added to my excitement as in four weeks we are getting furbabies of our own. We've always had cats, although we've just come through a brief spell without them which has been beyond bizarre. Still, I'm sure our new babies will prompt lots of photos and inspire a few more cat themed pages before the year is out.

First week!

Ok you lovely lot, I am very pleased to be able to share my first pages from my organiser with you!

I'm not entirely sure how happy I am with this page but love the effect of the cute characters in the tape. Both stickers and tape were from paperchase.

I've also decorated a double spread for this week. Again I'm not too sure on this, maybe it's beginners nerves? We're off to  Disneyland  Paris to see in the New Year tomorrow, so I've used a combination of Paris tape, which I received for Christmas  and the Disney tapes which I already had.

I decorated using Mickey stickers which came from Amazon, and felt the little travelling themed post-it's made a cute addition to the page as we're technically travelling this week.

eBay

I'm not normally one to buy from eBay, and probably just as well otherwise I would own about 30 filofaxes of varying sizes by now (I kid you not!) but this little bundle seemed sweet as apparently the seller was having a craft room clear out.

Some of the stickers are quite big so I think I'll be using them for scrapbooking rather than filofax as even for an A5 I think they're too big. As well as stickers I got these mouse shaped embellishments. I'm going to stick some to paperclips to use in my organiser when it arrives but I'm not too sure about the rest as there's a lot there. I'm sure I'll be able to put them to good use though.

There was also about 20 rolls of tape in this bundle, some of it used although not much. There was such a wonderful variety of tapes. The line up included Mickey Mouse, Aristocats, Snoopy and Hello Kitty, There's certainly plenty there to keep my busy for a little while.

Stationery Friday

Mr S has come up with a new tradition: Stationery Friday. This involved another trip to my favourite store, Paperchase. I was really spoilt for choice in there today and didn't know what to pick. In the end we settled on some washi tapes and stickers as you can never have enough of those.

I couldn't get enough of close ups today either, there were so many cute purchases! I love this tape, it oddly reminds me of dreams. Maybe that's what the range is called? Either way I love the pastel colours and the sweet little cartoon characters.

We picked out these as well, mainly I have to admit for the orange cat tape, although I'm in love with washi in general at the moment.

I love these stickers, they have a wonderful vintage feel to them. I feel like they should be used with lace doilies and things with tea cups printed on them. I particularly liked the cherries but then I can seldom resist a good cherry print anyway!

These too have that vintage vibe, I may have to plan an afternoon tea and have that theme for a week in my planner. It's even giving me the urge to make cupcakes!

Mr S picked out the rockets which are pretty funky anyway but I love the fact that the rockets are being driven by cats. I'm definitely a cat lady, and since ours sadly passed away the house feels lacking, but it's too soon to get another cat yet (not that I'm not getting the urge anyway)

I love these sweet little stickers too. I'd love an orange cat so these put a smile on my face and I think they'll work well with the cat themed washi tape. I've started to try and think about themes to put together rather than just selecting random things because I like them.

New Goodies

Now one of the wonderful albeit dangerous things about Amazon, is that there are so many wonderful things available in one place at the click of a button. Cue a little insomnia and the result is... you guessed it, more supplies for my Filofax. Thankfully at this point there are only 33 days or 4 Saturdays left before Christmas and getting my Filofax.

I wanted some ring reinforcers as I'm a touch clumsy and wanted to minimize the number of accidents I have with pages, Naturally I chose colourful ones as I love all things bright and colourful and these seemed a fantastic way to brighten up any pages. I've also been oggling some cute ones on etsy but I think I'll wait until after Christmas and maybe make a dent in the supply of things I've already begun to hoard.

Whilst I was shopping I couldn't resist these Mickey Mouse stickers. Mr S and I love a trip to Disney, so there is always ample opportunity to use these in the dates ahead. After all we're going to be seeing in the New Year there and then we're back there for Mr S' birthday shortly after.

Crayola twistables are fantastic as the colours are lovely and they're bright enough to be seen without overpowering or bleeding through pages. I love that you don't need to sharpen them. I was really upset when I lost my last set to my niece and nephew so treated myself to some of my own.

I also picked these up for the bargain price of £1.50 or something. I was a little disappointed as they're actually tiny but then at that price what did I expect? Something bizarre also happened when I photographed them as the picture looks really vibrant and fun, however in reality the colours were actually quite dark but they'll still be perfect for prettying up the Filofax.

Shhh!!

Soooooooo,,, I may have been a very naughty little starlet today! I nipped into town and spotted at a few bits and pieces that will be great little additions to my stationery collection. By a few, I of course mean I bought probably more than I needed but there were so many cute bits how could I resist?

I got some fantastic bits from the good old pound shop. I've got a real thing for paper clips at the moment so I jumped at the opportunity to stock up on some cute shaped ones. I particularly like the fish shaped ones.

I couldn't resist adding to the washi tape stash and picked up some fab ones from The Works and Wilkinsons. Now I've just got to find somewhere to keep them all, At the moment they're still in their packets in a big bag currently known as the filofax supplies.

I also picked up these sweet little pads from the pound store. I couldn't choose between the two so I got both as they will go quite nicely with most themes, plus I just love a good list so special paper for it is always a bonus!

I also stocked up on stickers as I've been threatening to stick them everywhere in my impatience. Although I got some cute tatty teddy ones in the pound shop I also picked up these as they're basic and versatile. In addition to that they were really easy on the pocket at 50p a packet. What's not to love about that?

One thing is for sure, Christmas needs to hurry up and get here so I can get my organiser and get decorating, otherwise Mr S is going to need to get me a work room for Christmas rather than just a filofax! Not that I would complain about having a whole work room instead of just a work space of course.

Hobby Craft

What's that? Hobby Craft are having 3 for 2 on craft materials you say? Oh well in that case it would be rude not to!

That washi tape love was thoroughly indulged with some new tapes today. I was so spoilt for choice it was difficult just to limit myself to the tapes I selected,

These were too pretty to miss out on. The floral ones remind me of Cath Kidston and the black and white ones were irresistable. I love the butterflies!

Mr S's birthday is the day after valentines so I thought these would be perfect for combining the two themes in my planner. That and they're uber pink which is also always a bonus.

Of course I couldn't get tape and not pick up some festive ones. I love these as they're wintery so can be used right through December rather than just Christmas week, not that I'm thinking that far ahead or anything...

All these tapes have got me super excited for getting my planner now, not sure how I'm going to last the time left until I get it. I noticed I need to start shopping around for a punch too, that's top of my to-do list for tomorrow I guess.

Paperchase

Now what sort of stationary lover would I be without a good old haul from Paperchase? It forms a staple part of my pen and paper diet, even if it is sometimes a touch pricey. For me, going in there is a bit like going into a sweet shop. Well actually it's better, given the choice I'd pretty much always choose pens and paper.

I treated myself to some schedule stickers as they were a bit prettier than the ones I'd already got. Added with the fact I have a big family, I'll probably need the birthday stickers! Overall, I was really pleased with this little haul as I felt I got a lot for my pennies. It may have been preemptive but I picked up some to do pages and some A5 coloured paper as it worked out cheaper than buying the pre-punched stuff and I'm not too worried about it being lined, I may even give some of the pretty templates I've seen on Pinterest a go.

Ah washi tapes... I'm completely new to washi tapes so ridiculously in love with them and added them to my supply bag every opportunity I get. I couldn't resist the cute little penguin design which I thought would be perfect for winter. The polar bears are pretty sweet too. The loose one is apparently a mushroom design, I liked its monochromatic graphic style.

I couldn't resist a new sticker haul either, especially the Parisian ones with the sweet little Eiffel Towers. I'm also really drawn to weather stickers as well for some reason. I think it's because they have faces when they shouldn't have faces. Either way, they make me smile and that's something I will definitely need in my planner.

Amazon

Some goodies arrived for me today from Amazon for my Filofax, It was a little bit like Christmas coming early actually as I'd completely forgotten I'd ordered them!

This masking sticker set, although A LOT smaller than it looked in the picture is super sweet! The papers are really pretty inside it and I'll be able to make lots of use, plus it's a nice size to just tuck into a pocket of my Filofax whilst I'm on the go.

I'd completely forgotten I'd ordered these sweet little stickers, and it's taking everything to keep my inner child from opening them and just sticking them everywhere. I love cats and sadly we lost ours last year after he was hit with a car, so anything cat orientated is pretty much a must for me I'm afraid. These'll be great for appointments and things as they're so diverse.

I opted for some Filofax branded stickers too, although they're a bit dark and small but nice enough. very practical. They'll be handy for helping me to remember important dates etc, but I don't think I'll be too disappointed when they run out.

It's a bit chilly here so I'm going to wrap up and drool over these beauties with a nice cup of tea. Today's tea is brought to you by Tinkerbell!
